This is a sequence of still videos showing Elon University’s Rudd Field. As part of a class assignment, I shot all the videos, and edited them together using Adobe Premiere.
For this assignment, the class recorded themselves reading this poem. Then using what I had learned about Premiere, I cut the recording together to include everyone speaking at least one line. After, I mixed in music, a sound effect, and ambient noise to make the sound more interesting. The assignment was designed to show us how to do the basics in Premiere and how to adjust audio levels. We also learned how to use voice recorders and adjust our levels on there.
As another part of the Photoshop assignment, I created two magazine covers. The Elon related cover features a photograph that I took at a softball game and real events in the world of Elon athletics. The knitting magazine is meant to emulate a real magazine of this style. Both covers use layer masks as well as many text layers.
These photos were taken as part of a project to help me learn how to properly expose, frame, and take a photograph. I used a Canon G-15 camera. The three objects are my cello, a pillow that I knitted myself, and a necklace that I wear nearly every day. The goal with the objects is to use the principles of design: unity, emphasis, and perception in my compositions. The location is Sloan Hall at Elon University. With the location, I did some wide, medium, and detail shots of the inside and outside of the hall.
This is a post of my favorite food: Quinoa.
